AIMS OF THE CONFERENCE

The aim of the conference is to exchange views, opinions and present the results of research conducted by representatives of the Polish and international scientific community on the geopolitical dimension of Russia-West relations. This year organizers decided to expand the formula of the conference, which over the past five years has focused strictly on the relations between Warsaw and Moscow. However, it was recognized that in the face of changes taking place in the international security environment, including the growing strength of Asian powers, polarization of positions against contemporary global security challenges such as the war in Syria or the Iranian nuclear program, it is worth undertaking a scientific debate in the wider context.

Within the framework of the aforementioned geopolitical dimension, the organizers expect a deep scientific discussion covering the area of foreign and security policy, military rivalry, the special services’ operations, information warfare, the fight for global influence on the international area. Other subjects of discussion proposed by the participants that will fit into the geopolitical dimension of the relations are also allowed.
